quite the swankiest part of Cleveland, Cleveland Heights. It is a beautiful city, hilly and beautifully landscaped because the natural trees etc. have been left. The houses are more than comfortable and the lots are large so there is no feeling of crowding. Hope you are the same, Cornelia. You might send this letter on to Leonard & tell him to look up the Smalls the next time he is in Cleveland. They would love it. Ohrum is C’s. double cousin

In this letter of October 31, 1938, Cornelia writes her mother Laura Kephart to tell her about her trip to Cleveland to visit her husband’s side of the family, the Smalls. While there she visited with her nephew Buddy, Leonard’s son, and asks that Laura pass the letter onto Leonard and suggests that he visit the Smalls when he’s in town next time.
