Amy’s story of her early married life “Beans and Money” tells of the time she spent living with her husband Robert’s family. “The Old Guitar” played on an acoustic guitar accompanies the story. On Creative Corner, Doreyl continues her talk with Richard Hurley from Canton. Richard talks about his album My Mountains, My Songs, the inspirations for the songs and plays “The Peaceful Pigeon River” from that album. He also shares some of his career history. Amy interviews Lois Lewis Deitz from the Little Savannah community of Jackson County on Stories of Mountain Folk. Lois shares some of the history of her family. She also talks about her mother’s talent in various crafts. Betty Brown’s rendition of “My Appalachia” follows the interview. On This is My Home, a reprisal of the October 25, 2014 segment is broadcast. Joe talks with Pearl Krepps of Glenville, who talks about her research into the history of Glenville Wesleyan Church and some of the history of the Glenville area. “Who Will Sing For Me?” by the Compost Mountain Boys follows the segment. As a tribute to Jack Wood, a reprisal of the October 18, 2014 is broadcast on Down Another Road. Jack grew up in Caney Fork and he shared some of his memories of Sylva. The interview is followed by “Green Pastures” by the Butterpats. The show concludes with “Mississippi Sawyer” by Curly Fox.
