  • Amy’s story, “Underneath Horseshoe Rock” begins the show and talks about Horseshoe Rock, which is located on Wolf Mountain and also discusses living on Wolf Mountain as a young girl. The story is followed by “In the Stable” by the Cockman Family. Doreyl’s guest on Creative Corner is Betty Brown, and they talk about the gospel music groups that Brown is a member of, with an emphasis on Children of Zion. Brown sings “Abiding in the Vine” to close the interview. On Stories of Mountain Folk, Amy talks with Emily McBride, who grew up in Florida and now lives in Macon County. She talks about quilting with the Cowee Valley Quilters. The interview ends with “Are You From Dixie” by the Valley River Boys. On Stories of the Cherokee, Robert Jumper concludes his talk with Joyce Cooper of the Museum of the Cherokee Indian.
