In her opening story, “The Wayward Wind,” Amy shares early memories of participating in a talent contest at school in Tuckasegee, followed by Gogi Grant’s rendition of "The Wayward Wind.” On Creative Corner, Doreyl and Robert Woods, a woodturner from Stecoah, discuss his woodworking and his community in Graham County; music from Sylva’s Keith Shuler with "Smoky Mountain Days.” Then, Amy and her cousin Linda Owen Vinson, share memories of their grandmother and their childhood on Cullowhee Mountain, followed by C.W. Colt's song "Chickens.” On Apple Butter, Bryson City’s Krista Robb shares stories of her family's mountain heritage, with music from Maggie Valley’s Raymond Fairchild with "Flop Eared Mule." On Down Another Road, Judy continues her interview with her uncle Martin Cook of Caney Fork as they discuss family and music, followed by "She'll Be Coming Around The Mountain" from Judy and her family. The song "The Promise" from the Cockman Family of Sherrill's Ford closes the show.
