Senate, Washington, D, 0, My dear Sir:- ¥e are just in receipt of your letter of the 3rd inst, relative to certain information in connection with the forest^eserve bill. Id will take the matter up at once and hope from the data we have been collecting for the past two years and from other sources to be bble to give you the answers within the next week. Some of this information will have to be made up from a large amount of correspondence and data which we have and will take some little time in which to dc it, *M hope also to be able to furnish you with some additional information not included in your <|uestlons naiich we trust win be of service to you, We are glad to see from the papers that you have introduced the bill again and sincerely hope that it may receive, favorable consid- trat ion, Jf there is anything else that m can do to assist yo\i in the matter do not hesitate to call upon us, With best wishes, I am, Yours very sincerely, (H) President,
