Servo s^jrs: *lf s fhe Beaver/' Another Pay-Per-View, another nWo screw-over. That pretty much says it all about SuperBrawl IX. Not only did Ric Flair lose yet another match to "Hollywood" Hogan, but also David Flair was the one who cost his dad the victory. I'm glad that WCW has finally come up with some plot material, but I wish it were a bit better than this little family feud. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the talent of WCW, but they do need to work on their plot devices just a bit more, don't ya think? Anyway, I was happy to see the Kevin Nash/Rey Mysterio Jr. go as far as it did. Not only did Rey lose his mask Sunday night, but he redeemed himself by defeating Nash on Nitro the following evening. I guess, I' m just a sucker for a David/Goliath match. Nitro had its moments Monday night. Other than the Mysterio/Nash bout I mentioned earlier and the incredible match between Booker T and Bret "The Hitman" Clark—er—Hart, Nitro was pretty much par for the course. Is it just me, or does WCW try to re semble WWF in a few ways? On Nitro, for example, nWo Wolfpac dressed up as Flair and the Horsemen in a little parody. Maybe I'm wrong, but didn't DX do that a couple of times? Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it? Raw was interesting Monday night, to say the least, but at least it wasn't a dog show. The Rock and Paul "The Giant" Wight had some arguments earlier in the show, and Mankind offered to be a special guest referee in a match between The Rock and Wight. They accepted, and promptly began beating up on Mankind. Nice little twist, but I'm thinking there's going to be a bit more of a feud between Wight and The Rock when it comes down to the World Title. After a long break from wrestling, The Undertaker returned to the ring to do battle with his brother, Kane, yet another time in an Inferno Match. Vince McMahon was not too happy about The Undertaker's threats on Vince's company and Corporation and sent one of his big men to put a stop to The Undertaker's ministry. Kane lost to his brother when his foot caught on fire, but the thing that got my attention, was Paul Bearer giving Vince a package from The Undertaker. Inside was a teddy bear. Vince had his famous confused/scared look on his face, but went completely hysterical when The Undertaker took the teddy and set it on fire. Vince looked as if The Undertaker had just ran over Vince's favorite dog. I'm not sure if there was any sentimental value about that bear or what, but I'm glad that The Undertaker's back to what he does best— mind games. And don't forget, next Wednesday, WCW is coming to Cullowhee! As of Tuesday of this week, only 2,550 tickets in a 8,457 arena have been sold. If you haven't bought your tickets, GET THEM! Remember, we need to impress WCW so maybe we can get more shows later. UT- Chattanooga has had Raw is War, Thunder, and Nitro. So Support WCW and WCU! Servo Says: "It's the Beaver!!" Bobby "The Brain" Heenan upon seeing Rey Mysterio Jr. without a mask.
