Alpha Phi Omega Join us in the voyages of Alpha Phi Omega, its primary mission: explore new ways of developing leadership. Friendship and Service. . .to boldly go where no Fraternity has gone before. Like Star Trek. . .Service is more popular today than ever before. But our program of Service has never been cancelled throughout our fifty-three year long history. That is why we are lhc largest Greek letter Fraternity in the Nation. Alpha Phi Omega is a Coed Fraternity that is open to both Men and Women. . . .The Service ideas of Alpha Phi Omega are derived from, but not governed by the Scouting movement. Alpha Phi Omega men and women engage in Four Fields of Service. . .Service To The Nation which includes sponsoring the Red Cross Bloodmobile, Dances, Discos, and Rockathons for worthy causes. . .Service To The Community which includes a Thanksgiving Womanless Pageant, visits to the Jackson County Retirement Home, and campus and community cleanup projects. . . .Service To The Campus. . .Each year Alpha Phi Omega trys to sponsor a float in the Homecoming Parade and this year Alpha Phi Omega is sponsoring the New Student Record which is the annual for all the new Freshman and Transfer students. . . .Service To The Fraternity which includes parties, cookouts, suppers, and campus retreats. If Alpha Phi Omega were an all work organization we could hardly call ourselves a Fraternity. We offer a well-rounded Social Program not only for many good times but for the building of character. Alpha Phi Omega means Service. . .and in the course of performing Service. . .leadership emerges. . .and friendships are formed. If any Man or Woman is interested in joining this very worthwhile Fraternity please come to our open Smokers January 29 and January 31 on the second floor of the University Center at 7:00 p.m. Contact any brother or call 239-9439 day or night and Be a Friend, Be of Service, Be a Leader.
