  • 2 lengthy period; she seemed to like her new job. Selah for the family. I. K. sent me the Feb. 20 “Colliers in which is an article on the S.M. Park by Herbert Ravenel Sass if you have not seen it, I can send it on. I wrote the Editor calling his & Mr. S’s attention to the booklet. The article sounded most familiar. “Leon” Howell came to inspect the house for fire insurance. While talking with B. he said he was a Cornell man & knew you. Is going to try to see you next time he is in Washington. The death of the Brashears is really tragic. They were still young, happy & had much to live for. She died in Jan. & he a few weeks ago. Mrs. Quick died in Jan., I think it was, but she was 86 & had no near relative. I shall miss her when in Ithaca; she was always so glad to see me it did me good. There are so few left now of the old friends. Did I write
