Sweet Dreai opportunity to do both of these th First opened in 2000, the bakery n exceptional history. The building, located at 894 E. Mai tin Sylva was originally the insurance agency for which Yvonne Price worked. Her sister, Robbin Monteitch, was caught up in the world of accounting, but both sisters got tired of the stress of their work. They decided to try something new. Having always enjoyed cooking and baking, they decided to open their own bakery, with the encouragement of their father. The building which had previously housed the insurance agency came into their possession, and they tackled this new project with enthusiasm. While their husbands worked on remodeling the structure, the two sisters dealt with the dcor and style of their new bakery. Part of the chosen dcor is the generous amount of unique gift items. Scattered throughout the building, you find plaques with tidbits of knowledge, picture frames, weddings gifts, wedding cake toppers, pen sets, cookbooks, cards for all occasions and even more. If you prefer to try a more personal gift idea, the sisters can create a unique gift basket combining gift items with baked goods. All of the food at Sweet Dreams is served fresh and includes a myriad of lunch foods, such as homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, baked potatoes, chili and chicken salad, as well as all sorts of culinary delights including cakes, pies, cookies and scones.
