  • Western Carolinian November 9,1995 Features by Phoebe Esmon StaffReporter On Tuesday, November 14, ventriloquist Lynn Trefzger and several of her closest friend will visit WCU's campus for an evening of comedy. Trefzger, who has appeared at comedy clubs across the nation and on such television shows as ABC's "Good Morning, America" and NBC's "PM Magazine," will hit the stage at 9 p.m. in the Cherokee Room of the A.K. Hinds University Center. The show is part of the Totally Tuesday series of entertainment activities sponsored by LMP. Trefzger uses a collection of puppets and dummies in her performance, the highlight of which comes when she brings members of the audience up onstage to become "human dummies." Admission will be $1 for WCU students and $3 for all others. Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. Free pizza will be provided by Pizza Hut of Cullowhee. So if you're hungry Tuesday night, and the brass ensemble at Coulter just doesn't turn you on, check out LMP's Totally Tuesday presentation with Lynn Trefzger. If nothing else, maybe you'll learn how to pronounce her name. Grits rapped religion for WCU at the Ramsey Center when they opened for D C Talk on Saturday.
