  • THE WESTERN CAROLINIAN Thursday, March 4, 1971 7 Gwk'&ui Anthony Brown, Sr., Jack Wulden, mystery of the monkey's paw. Richard Polenek, and Karen Furno discuss the S-TA's one act plays show opposite emotions Sunlight and snow in Cullowhee lately are sort of common. Opposite atmospheric elements causing a contrasting sort of weather. On this campus. Country. World, Universe. Jack Walden (Sgt. Major) has goo.-1 facial expression and overall stage presence which illuminates and magnifies the foreboding of the initial scene of the play. Randy Zartman is Simon, the bearer of sad news to the Whites. His voice varies somewhat in pitch and, at times, tends to detract from the strong emotion packed in this scene. Director of THE MONKEY'S PAW is Karen Morrow. The second in the series of one acts is TH3 TIGER, by Murray SchisgaL The twj characters of a man and a CONTINUED Page 8 .... .
