The accompanying proposed itinerary may no be followed, in detail but I will notify you of any variation from, it whiel will effect the time of his ,;isit to Abbeville. I do not know hust at this time how much publicity the Secretary would, c re to have given the matter but I think it should at least- be known among the officers and members of the Appalachian Park Association and I am sure that he Secretar. will appreciate any courtesy that the officers and members of the Association or citizens of Asheville will extend to hint. He will probably be accompanied by his Pdyvate Secretary; Mr. Giftord Fine-hot* Chief of the Government Forestry Bureau; Mr, P. H. Newell, Chief of the Hydrograpbic revision of the U. S. Geological Survey; and probably two or three other personal including ayself. It will ;--e best for the present at least not to publish this itiner. as we wish to feel perfectly free to change it as oirc. cos may ■direct, but I will keep yoa posted as ■ gefa.
