The Unitarian Church is having a new forward impulse. The recent pamphlet Why I believe in the advertising (that is not the word used, but that is what it is) of the Unitarian Faith. It is short articles written by prominent, with their pictures. The latter I compared with the pictures of the Germans just sentenced at Nurnberg. It was right interesting & enlightening. I tried to compare the Germans with four footed animals & think Goering is a hyena, an utterly ruthless coward. Yesterday the Badgers asked me to drive with them at The Old Hundred, which is the old Allen farm near Buttermilk. After

In this letter of October 7, 1946, Laura Kephart writes her son Leonard Kephart to give him general family news. Laura is registered for school in Syracuse and Marnie will be registering at Cornell. The Rileys are going to Boston for their annual crusade to the Mother Church First Church of Christian Science. She mentions the Germans sentenced at Nurnberg. She drove with the Badgers to the Allen farm near Buttermilk and then to Kings Ferry, and ends the letter by saying the Fernows are doing well with their potato crop this year.
