In this letter of October 12, 1938, Laura Kephart writes to her son Leonard Kephart to give him the details of the mastoid surgeries his nephew Leonard is undergoing for both the right and the left side of his head. She fills him in on other news from the family and ends by telling him she has been busy harvesting her crops.
