March 28, 1935. Dear Leonard, Apparently your efforts bore fruit as I understand that a letter from George is supposed to be going the rounds, altho it has not yet reached E.L. Now if you can only keep up the good works all will be well. You can & will manage your end of it but whether George can be equally firm is a question. If he had his mail sent to his business address it might work altho since she takes the field apparently whenever he does it is doubtful. It is sure a mess but hope it will straighten itself out in time. Have four 4-H club girls in the sun-parlor working on their dresses & interrupting every other

In this letter of March 28, 1935, Cornelia (1888-1947) writes her brother, Leonard Kephart (1892-1988) that she understands a letter from George is making the rounds and is waiting for it to reach her. She tells him she has girls from the 4-H club working on their dresses for Achievement Day and Virginia practicing viola and Latin. She wonders if Leonard will be able to visit this year.
