Carver. one other thing, that we must think of and that is what would the feeling be? I know how you, dear “Dick” and the rest of the family feel, but your neighbors who would know it. I saw in the papers some time ago where they had whipped or in some way punished a colored boy for something they did not approve. Our photographer died some months ago and we have a new man. Just as soon as I can have a picture taken I will send you one. I am sure you will pardon me for raising the questions I have, but a person who is so closely in league with Jesus Christ, might overlook an actual condition that they would pay no attention to unless it was brought to their attention. I have always beleived that the meeting of dear “Dick” was providential, the very moment I saw him, before I had even spoken to him, I loved him because I saw such unusual possibilities in him. He has a thoroughly creative mind, He is very artistic in his tastes also. I cannot tell you how I appreciate your friendship, to me it is Godly, and for this reason I am so anxious to see you and the rest of the family. May God ever bless you, guide, and prosper you in all that seemeth best in His
