  • A contractor reported some of their equipment missing from the construction site at Stilwell 37 Officers investigated a report of reckless driving involving one vehicle that almost hit another while changing lanes at the traffic circle. ane Officers assisted by securing a broken gate. Facilities Management was notified regarding the need for repair. Officers located an intoxicated non- student lying on the edge of the parking area at the Presbyterian Church Lot. EMS checked the person to determine if medical care was needed; then officers transported him to his residence just off campus. 319 Officers helped two students exit from a stuck elevator at Harrill Hall. The elevator was disabled and Facilities Management notified. Officers investigated a suspicious odor near a storage room at the UC. The odor ceased when a grill type portable propane bottle was removed from the area. 3/20 Officers: are investigating larceny from a student's locked vehicle that occurred while the vehicle was parked in the Upper Harlot Officers are investigating vandalism to.a student's vehicle where the rear middle glass window was broken out. 3/21 One student received an underage possession for alcohol UJC Referral, and two other students were banned from Leatherwood as a result of the same incident, 24 | WCnewsmagazine POLICE FILES Officers investigated a theft involving a student's locked vehicle being entered and the in-dash CD player stolen. 3/24 Officers responded to Central Hall regarding disorderly conduct and were advised one student had communicated threats towards another student before leaving the area. Guidance was given on the process of obtaining a communicating threats warrants/summons. 3/25 Officers are investigating an incident that may have involved possible reckless endangerment and false imprisonmentinvolving anon student. Two students received UJC's, but no criminal charges have been filed at this time. 3/26 Officers responded to a fire in the pine needles and bushes outside Harrill Hall that seems to have been caused by a cigarette. A students unsecured french horn was stolen from the bands locker area of Coulter. 3/27 A banner advertising the play Oklahoma was taken from the front of the HER lawn. Officers are investigating a student's wallet being recovered in the Forsyth Building. The contents of the wallet were missing when it was found, 3/34 Two students received UJC referrals for streaking on the UC lawn. o4/o2 Following a complaint Officers located and spoke with several students regarding horseplay in the UC Food 4y4 Officers are investigating an incident where 3 tires on a student's vehicle were damaged by being cut. 4i6 Officers investigated a student's apparent self-inflicted cut and insured that all needed assistance was obtained, 418 When officers received a report of a simple assault at the Vilage, they found several Fraternity members had been involved in an apparent affray and issued all 3 students UJC referrals for the affray. 443 Officers are investigating the larceny of a Trombone and an Euphonium taken from the Coulter Building at the Band locker area. ang Officers assisted EMS when a student was injured by falling from a bicycle and needing transport by air- ambulance to Memorial Mission. ang Oficers received an emergency call box activation from Hunter Library that was storm related. Officers responded to a fire alarm at Helder Hall. The alarm was believed to be storm related. 4/20 Officers who were investigating a suspicious vehicle found two students with marijuana inside the vehicle. The two students received UJC Referrals and were banned from Catamount Peaks by the Peaks Manager. bya} ba) 10 hate when you don't know you're going the wrong way until you run over the sign, 9 Well, so much for concrete trash cans being too heavy to knock over.
