From the Editor desk... OO Dear Readers, Election day is quickly approaching! Here at the WC Newsmaga- zine we want our audience to be aware of what exactly is going on in the political scene, so that when they got to vote on Nov. 2 , they can make an educated decision on a candidate. While there are a lot of things going on at the national level, it is still important to focus on state and local campaigns as they affect us just as much if not more so. Of course, we couldnt go to press with an election issue and not have editorials and opinion pieces! While politics can sometimes be dry and boring, we have gone out of our way to make it interesting for you by writing about some things you probably won't find any- where else. Last years election made many Americans question the validity of the Electoral College. This issue ways the pros and cons of the system, and also tells what many of you think about it as weil. With all of this said, we hope you enjoy the election issue, even if you care absolutely nothing about politics. Our goal was to make this issue one that everyone could find at least one thing that may interest them in the political arena in hopes of inspiring the highest voter turnout in American history, especially in the 18-25 age group. Homecoming is here as well. This issue has information that can help you make your homecoming plans. Enjoy these busy two weeks of Homecoming, and dont forget to vote in this election!
