  • February 16, 2000 NEWS Mv P U ■■■: ■ ■ .■ . Who is your favorite 'Peanuts' character? Why? Adam Cook, Junior High Point, NC Charlie Brown, because he's got that cool way of getting along with everybody. It's also about how guys have trouble chasing girls in real life. Amanda Grinnell, Junior Greensboro, NC Snoopy, because he was an all around great dog. I liked how he went back to World War I and fought the Red Baron. It's cool to have a great imagination like that. Alyssa Keener, Freshman Asheville, NC Linus, because I had a little blanket that I carried around. It was my favorite blanket, and I thought he was cool because he had one like me. Chris Corner, Freshman Fayetteville, NC I like Woodstock. He's always doing something, and you never can tell what he's saying. Only Snoopy can understand him. He's always landing on the dog house and that raggedy nest up in the tree.
