Spring fever is arriving and so is finding summer employment. Before your summer is rained out and you have no money to spend, here are a few places students can find summer employment. •I Can't Leave This Place- First, summer employment opportunities on campus are extensive. The Physical Plant will need to fill a variety of positions, such as maintenance jobs and grounds keeping. Housing is looking for conference assistants, painting crews, housing cleanup personnel and maintenance workers. The University Center will have jobs for outdoor guides, river specialists, and information desk personnel. Many other departments, like the library, food service, Ramsey Center, and NCCAT, will also offer summer employment. •I Love Sylva... Students can also use the Career Library, located in 91 McKee, to search for almost any type of summer job available in the country. •I Can Always Count on Mom and Dad... If home is where you plan to bake in the sun, eat Mom and Dad's food, and find work, then start looking before school is out. Networking is always a quick way to find out what might be available; or ask the CAP Center.
