Whitmire Stadium 2pm Football game, WCU vs. Furman, Bob Waters Field 9pm Student Dance, UC Grand Room (third floor) HOMECOMING Return the Homecoming Court entry form, available at the U.C. Hinds University Center office, by 5:00pm, Tuesday, September 21. The form must be accompanied by an 8x10 black and white glossy picture of the candidate. A candidate must be sponsored by an approved and recognized campus club or organization or a petition must be submitted with the entry form signed by twenty five (25) or more students that want to sponsor the candidate. Those elected to the Court must be available on Friday, September 24 at 3:00pm in the H.F. Robinson Building Public Information DISPLAY COMPETITION Returning to an earlier tradition, WCU welcomes the Display Competition for Homecoming 1993. Everyone is urged to participate in this year's competition by constructing a display, built within the guidelines set by the Homecoming Committee. There will be cash awards for the best display entries in the following categories: $200 for the best fraternity display, sorority display, hall display, and any other club, organization, or other group of WCU students display. Groups may work together.

The Western Carolinian is Western Carolina University's student-run newspaper. The paper was published as the Cullowhee Yodel from 1924 to 1931 before changing its name to The Western Carolinian in 1933.
