SKI CONTEST WINNER Jim Welborn won the WCU Ski Emblem contest. His design will become the official ensignia of the Club, HIKING CLUB MEETING The WCU Hiking Club will meet at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1, in 103 Forsyth. Last week's hike in the Smokies will be re viewed and plans for another hike to take place in approximately two weeks will be made. Officers for the provisional government of the club will be elected at this meeting. The hiking club is open to everyone interested in hiking (of course). LLU MEETS The members of the l-Li wish to thank all those who attended their last meeting. The District 16 Ambassador presided over the meeting, giving a short talk on camel shearing with an actual demonstration. A film on Guerilla Warfare was also shown. This week the guest speaker from District 5 will lecture on various amphibious landing techniques. The meeting will be at 8 o'clock sharp.
