This is to draw your attention to a voluntary comprehensive student health and accident insurance plan that is available to you through Western Carolina University. This plan, presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, is a vital link in providing the health care that is often needed by a college student. Many occasions arise throughout the year where injury or serious illness require health care services not available at our infirmary particularly for the student's family. When such an occasion does arise, the medical bills must be paid by you, or your parents Ihe insurance plan has been selected so as to substantially reduce the risk of your being faced with unexpected and possibly unpayable medical bills, and is available to individuals, parent with one child, or families. Since this is a group policy, enrollments can be accepted only during the first two weeks of any term except for those who. because of age or marriage, lose their coverage under their parents plan. These students or students enrolling at the spring or summer terms are eligible to sign up for coverage at a pro-rated cost. Inquiries concerning this coverage should be directed to Doug Davis, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Development. Come by 460 UA MHC'orcallat 227-7204. It's Miller time Catamount Country!
