Amy’s story, “In a Pocket of Time,” begins the show; she tells of the way Christmas was when she was a child living on Cullowhee Mountain. The story is followed by “Christmas Time at Home” by the Cockman Family. On Creative Corner, Doreyl’s guest is Mary Hartbarger. She talks about the history of Jarrett House in Dillsboro, as well as some of the food served at the Jarrett House Restaurant. The two then spend some time discussing the mural that Doreyl will paint for the town of Dillsboro. “Wassail Song” follows the interview. On Stories of Mountain Folk, Amy talks with James Carpenter of the Little Savannah community in Webster. He talks about restoring his aunt’s house and turning it into a traditional mountain cabin. The interview is followed by “Take a Moment and Live” by the Smoky Mountain Boys. On Black Roots of Appalachia, Victoria talks with Stella Moore, who is from New Jersey and moved to Sylva. She talks about living in the area and celebrating Christmas. “Your Christmas Gift” by Steve Ivey follows the interview. On Down Another Road, Judy continues her talk with Saro Lynch-Thomason, who talks some more about Blair Mountain and mountaintop removal. She sings “Fine Sally” after the interview, and the show ends with “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” by The Muses.
