A great many of you attended the conference two years ago at the Mountain View Hotel, Gatlinburg. A meeting was planned to be held at Rutland last year but later postponed until this year. The method of transportation will probably be the same as had been planned for last year. We hope to charter a bus (or busses) and all go together. This seems to be the most economical and satisfactory way to make the trip. It is quite possible (in fact they have already threatened) that a group from the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club will go along with us. Now wouldn't that be sumpin'. Fun. Well rawther. Clothing, just suit yourself. Party dresses, No. Something rough and serviceable, though, is suggested. We will be gone about 10 days. It is estimated that $50.00 to $60.00 per person will cover all expenses. The exact date will be announced later.
