  • what to do that you would carry it out to the letter and that he would improve. “Dick” has a researchable talent in that direction, and I am sure it comes from you. I longed to give him more training. I shall not be satisfied until I can get him. The dear lad is so handsome physically, bright mentally, and so pure and wholesome, that I do not wonder at him being a general favorite I do not blame you at all for being a little jealous, because he is such a loveable boy. I am so glad you told me about his religious beliefs, the dear fellow never said anything to me about it, and I never asked him, because he lived it, I did not need to. I hope you had a wonderful birthday, I wish dear “Dick” could have been with you. I know you prize the book, “Gods Open" very much indeed, and this season of the year is the most pleasant reminder of God’s, marvelous handiwork. I can readily see where the dear boy gets his love of nature and desire for investigation
