Park Assn., I had in contemplation the purchase of a printing plant in Asheville. its I have completed my arrangements in that connection, it has occur- red to me that it would be a source of embarrassment to me to be placed on Committees in which the consideration of bills in connection with printing would be an occasional matter of the routine of business. 1 would, therefore, request you to so arrange that my work in connection with the advancement of the interests of the Association would be or. some Committee whose duty would not involve passing upon bills for printing or other supplies. While this request may seem to be a matter of extreme delicacy on my part, I am prompted to it oj the understanding that it will avoid embarassing complications that would be very undesirable to the infant life of the Association.
