tcoachsletter@ @ @ @ @ @ @ BE LOUD. BE PROUD. WEAR PUP WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS Dear Western Carolina students, We are so excited for the basketball seasons to start. We have great groups of players this year who are committed to bringing home Southern Conference titles. We have been working extremely hard in practice in preparation for our first games. All the hard work and practice culminates on game day. But one of the most important components are the fans in the stands. We are encouraging the Western Carolina student body to come out and support your Catamounts. These are your teams. We wear the purple and gold for you! We cannot begin to tell you what it means to the players to see very loud and vocal students cheering them on. We have very challenging home schedules this season and would love to see the stands packed with students wearing their purple and gold. Both squads have a couple of key home games before you leave campus for the Christmas break, such as: Tuesday, November 20 Men vs. UNC Asheville; Wednesday, November 28 Women vs. UNC Asheville; Saturday, December 1 Men vs. College of Charleston; and Saturday, December 8 Women vs. Wake Forest. We need your support! We can promise the teams will bring a lot of energy and excitement on the court. Are you ready for the Catamount Basketball experience? Go Cats! eshte Jin gor, buel + OLA...
