While there are many other accrediting organizations out there, only a few of them go so far to ensure that their accreditation really and truly means something. : But what exactly does this mean for Westerns students? Among the benefits conferred by accreditation through the AACSB and SACS (the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, a division of the U.S. Department of Education), college credit earned at Western toward a variety of business majors will transfer more readily to any other school.
