  • Western Carolinian September 9,1993 Features Page 9 Horn kicks off Totally Tuesday Dan Horn, comedian and ventriloquist The Fugitive continued from page 8 Jennifer Martin StaffReporter Last Minute Productions' "Totally Tuesday" events first began taking place in 1986. The programs were a result of students' requests for on campus entertainment. People wanted an alternative, and that is what Totally Tuesday provides. Two Tuesdays a month, LMP schedules regionally and nationally known performers (singers, comedians, etc.) to come to WCU. On September 7, comedian and ventriloquist Dan Horn will perform in the Cherokee Room. Horn has been in comedy for fourteen years and was also nominated for the "Comedy Campus Entertainer of The Year" award in 1993. He has made many TV appearances including "Comic Strip Live" and " The Comedy Club Network." Singer and songwriter Brian Huskey will be Totally Tuesday's guest on Sep- tember21. Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Huskey has a flair that is all his own. He has performed for over six hundred college campuses in addition to playing for the "First Night" New Year's Eve celebration in Charlotte four years in a row. Both shows start at 9 pm, and the doors will open at 8:30pm. Admission price is $1.00 for WCU students and $3.00 for all others. Pizza Hut will provide free pizza and drinks.
