Student Teaching All education majors who plan to studentteachdurin£thel975- 76 academic year must attend a meeting in Killian 104 on January 21 at 5 p.m, or January 22 at 5 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to make application for student teaching for this summer and the 1975-76 academic year. WCAT WCAT, Western Carolina's student radio station, is scheduled to be back on the air by Jan. 20 starting at 6:30 a.m. According to Warren Foil, WCAT's new general manager, people "interested in working for the station can come by the station in 135 Killian for interviews or call 293-7173. Fe~ male announcers are especially needed, Foil said. He also added that WCAT plans to run a "Top 40" format in the evenings until 10 p.m. when progressive music will be played. Dane* "Mainstream" will perform in the University Center Grand- room Friday night from 3 to 12. Admission will be free, sponsored by the University Center Board. P.O.W. Peace One Way resumes its weekly meetings tonight at 7:30 with Bible studies in the basement auditorium of Cullowhee Baptist Church. Worship services are held each Sunday evening, at 7:30, in the Cherokee Room of the UC, Christian Scientists Interested persons are invited to the Christian Science religious meeting tonight at 6 o'clock in the Balsam Room of the U„ C. Outing Club WCU's Outing Club has changed its meeting day to Wednesday at 6:30 in Joyner 22. All old officers please attend next Wednesday. All other interested persons are urged to attend. Stay Fit U. C. B. There will be a general committee meeting of the University Center Board in the Grand Room of the U.C. tonight at 6:30. Everyone is invited to attend, whether a member of the Center Board or not. Starting this week and continuing for six weeks, the University Center Board will offer a self defense course taught by qualified instructors each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Cherokee Room of the Univer- j sitv Center.
