  • Thursday, May 18 THE WESTERN CAROLINIAN One-day workshop on group therapy A one - day workship on essentials of group therapy will be conducted Monday, May 22, from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Western Carolina University Oteen Extension Center. The workshop, designed for all registered nurses interested in participating in group therapy, will be presented by the WCU Department o f Nursingand the Western Region of Psychiatric- Mental Health Conference Group of the North Carolina State Nurses Association. Miss Josephine Snider of the University of Florida School of Nursing faculty, Clair Eugene Martin, head of WCU Department of Nursing, Miss Bho- da Moyer and Miss Kathlyn Gainess both WCU faculty mem. bers, will be workshop leaders. Dedication for Carol Grotnes Dedication ceremonies for the Carol Grotnes Belk Building at Western Carolina Uni- yersity have been set for 10 am Saturday, May 20. The dedication of the new building will be followed by an open house, during which students and faculty members from the departments of art, home economics, and industrial education and technology will demonstrate activities for which the building is used. Both the dedication and the open house are open to the public.
