  • THE WESTERN CAROLINA COLLEGE band, with 38 members, is having a heavy season of parades, athletic appearances and concerts. One band has played at five football games and participated in two parades this fall. Future plans call for winter and spring concerts, in addition to other performances. Dr. David Price, professor of music, is director. Don Patterson of Kings Mountain is drum major.
