CONFUSION When everything is upside down and right side up, When your mind is going crazy and brain rays are dizziness, When you feel like fighting and you do not know why, When you are sad and then happy not knowing which one is which, When this feeling hits, think of God and all confusion will leave. Taqura Standing on my own two feet, bu still, someone is holding my hand. Learning to walk, but there are still arms around me, to keep me from falling. This 1980, 32-page book of poems titled Neo-Blackness was published by the Organization of Ebony Students. Named in 1973, the Organization of Ebony Students was originally the Black Students United for Liberation which was founded in 1968 to promote unity among African American students. The organization is now called the Black Student Union and continues to promote the interests of WCU’s African American student body through cultural and educational activities and is open to all cultures.
