I believe also that the Congress of the United States will take a liberal of this matter, and see the necessity of a park in these mountains, and will make a large appropriation for the accomplishment of the purposes of this meeting. I hope they will do so, and do it WJnqDHNHRfci at a very early day. And when they shall have done so, and we shall see in this country greater facilities for transportation and good roads winding among the hills and valleys of thia most oeautifui region, then thousands of citizens of the^ great oroad land, from east, north,, south and west will flock here, to enjoy the common blessings of your efforts today. Mr Chairman and gentlemen, the best testimonial of my interest and the most eijfoquent thing I can say in favor of the park is the fact that I am here, since I have come a long way to be here with you today.
