  • LLndt EXQXa '■3 dliah A Four Year College Degree in Three Calendar Years It pays to complete your college work in three years. Statistics compiled by college placement bureaus show that students average a net saving of $1100 for three summers of work. The average starting salary for college graduates in business and industry is now $5200 a year. A student who attends school on the four quarter plan instead of working every summer may thus gain about $4000 by graduating. Be smart and begin your college work this summer as a freshman — accelerate your program toward graduation — you still have approximately seven weeks per year of free time. Spend your summer in the mountains — do your studying in pleasant and comfortable surroundings — and avoid the summer heat — here you will be combining work and recreation — credit may be earned toward a bachelor's or master's degree, or for certificate renewal. Nine quarter hours or six semester hours of credit may be earned during a five-weeks term. Three quarter hours or two semester hours may be earned during a two-weeks short course.
