  • IX. Provision For Additions And Changes In Listed Course Offerings The College will make every reasonable effort to provide for courses not listed in the offerings where there is a sufficient last- minute demand. It is of course impossible for the College to give assurance of such provisions or even to guarantee a course formally listed in the bulletin if fewer than ten people register for it. X. Withdrawal And Refund Students who may be forced, by providential or other causes, to withdraw from college before the end of a term will have a proportionate part of the amount paid for board refunded. However, room rent, laboratory, registration, and other fees will, under no circumstances, be refunded. XI. Veterans The College is on the approved list of the United States Veterans Administration for the training of veterans under Public Laws 550 and 894; also, for children of deceased veterans under Public Law 634. Special attention is given to the problems of veterans, with respect both to aiding them in filling out application forms for financial benefits and to advising them concerning educational objectives, credits, etc. In doing this the College will be governed by the laws operative through the Veterans Administration and the rules of the various accrediting agencies to which it belongs. Students in training under these laws are required to pay all fees, as regular students, since they are paid benefits directly through the Veterans Administration. In order to draw full benefits, an undergraduate student is required to carry a minimum load of 7 quarter hours each six-week, or five-week term; a graduate student 6 quarter hours. THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM Entrance Requirements I. For the degree: 1. Graduation from State-accredited four-year high school. 2. Graduation from a non-accredited four-year high school, followed by a satisfactory entrance examination. The College reserves the right to require the making up of any specific conditions deemed necessary. II. For certificate credit: Holders of standard North Carolina or out-of-state teachers' certificates of classes below Class A. For renewal credit only, undergraduate course credits will apply to Class A certificates. III. For auditing purposes: Parents of handicapped children. These may be admitted as special students for auditing purposes without meeting admission requirements. This holds true also for others who are not interested in credit but who merely wish to audit courses. Undergraduate Curricula And Degrees I.
