Under the. suggestion of the Secretary of Agriculture our Association has during the past few months, not been active at formerly in keeping the matter before the press as it was the wish of the Secretary of Agriculture that the investigation go forward this summer in as quiet Banner as possible, we expect to hold a general Meeting of the Association s«i some time during the next few weeks and at that meeting the question of finances will be our most important consideration. Our Association fund is already over-drawn and, if we are to continue in this work, especially sending out literature as we have been in the past, further funds will have to be raised to meet these expenses. jn reply to your question I would state that there are too ways in *hich your tause needs assistance at this time; First, financially, and second, it would be well if those tin* are interested would approach the Congressmen of their districts and in so far as is possible place this matter before them personally In order that they may have some understanding regarding our cause When the same comes again before Congres I will speak i?o the Editor of Pictures and Ptncilings and see nhy it is that you have not received the same.
