I am returning the letter he wrote you, and keeping the “backhouse” poem. Thanks. On Tuesday my good friend Chas M. Schatt Jr. died while in Atlantic City, quite suddenly. His people at once telegraphed me and in fact by Wednesday PM had a bunch of telegrams. Special delivery letters etc. on my table. in response to all which I went over to the funeral on Thursday.
