This is not a letter because there is no news, except from the Birds. They had a lovely Christmas; lovely enough to make up for the lean ones. The rich childless widow, next door, gave the girls a game & tickets to see Shirley Temple. The logs have begun to roll, so Roy is in the woods for some weeks probably. Have saved the frosting until the last, tried to find a card appropriate for you & lovely enough to send to my
