fun with the rest of you in place of with each other. Glad to have a “companion in misery” though with the 28. My own vote could be decidedly easy for the [illegible] #3 single shot. this not only on account of its superior shooting but also on account of superior ease of cleaning a sharpshooter would necessarily have to keep his gun in almost the same con- dition as a target shot. this is very dif- ficult when shooting a small bore nitro ammunition and cleaning from muzzle – al- most impossible when exposed to all kinds of weather damp bouts and etc. My gun would be a #3 single shot 3 inch [illegible] stock with padded chamois cheek single set trigger and Idle [Sway] Short telescope sight. if our sights are a little too course for fine work at long range and target sights no [illegible] on Earth for the purpose in view. I never have much confidence in striking an object when the object to be hit is much smaller than the front sight. Yours Chas Askins
