  • ^HHB^^^HHm^H^m H^HI GEO. H. CALDWELL FAMILY File No. III-P-13341 Neg. No. 13341 Family of George H. Caldwell, Cataloochee Copied from photo made in 1902. This is the family of George H. Caldwell of that day. Each of these, except the eldest daughter, are clothed with garments made "from the sheepfs back" by the mother. Mr. Caldwell died 1928, after having advised his family "not to have a lawsuit with the Park but to sell their home for what they could get for it." Mrs. Caldwell, familiarly known as "Aunt Mag" is still living. She recently donated the loom complete, and other equipment with which she manufactured clothing and other textiles.
