These are being distributed among merchants and other business men here in Asheville with the request that they be enclosed with all their correspondence. Y©ur Committee have received under date of nec? 13b from Mr, A. II. McQuilkin statement in which he says that after mailing the 1000 copiesmof Pictures and Pencilings as turned over to the Association by the Parks and Forestry Committee of the Board of Trade, that he still had 500 additional copi«l and he kindly volunteered to mail these to addresses which which our Committee would! give him in lieu o of placing the same on sale. Your Committee would therefore suggest that the Executive Committee pass a vote of thanks to Mr, McQuilkin for these extra copies of the Ilagazing . And further: Your committee would suggest that appreciating the great advantage our present contract with Pictures and Pencilings will be to the Association, both as a means of disseminating our Park literature, and of releiving our Com-.:. mitteeof a large stun of expense (viz. $450,00), and in as No. 3.
