For more information call Intramural Office 130-D at x7477. WOMEN'S AND MEN'S TRACK MEET will occur Tuesday, April 7, on the WCU track. Field events will begin at 3:45 pm and end at 5:15 pm. Running events will begin at 5:15 pm and end at 7:00 pm. The alternate will be on Wednesday, April 8. Women's track and field events will occur in the order that follows: running long jump, standing broad jump, and high jump. Novelty events will include: Frisbee distance, Frisbee accuracy, softball relay and softball throw. Running events are: 50m dash, 400m relay, 100m dash, 400m dash and the mile run (two participants per team). Men's field events are: running long jump, shot put and highjump. Novelty events will be the Frisbee accuracy and Frisbee distance. Running events will be: 400m relay, 100m dash, 800m relay, and the mile run (two participants per team) *For the Intramural Track and Field Meets first, second and third place ribbons will be awarded. Intramural T-shirts will be awarded to the best overall first place contestant in each event and any all-campus records tied or established. Group pictures will be taken of league winners at end of meet. NOTE: For the women's participation two categories (sorority and independent) will be recognized for All-Campus honors. For the men's participation, any independent wishing to participate should register in the National League this year.
