Rohr CAP Center Western Carolina University students have a unique advantage in job hunting that does not often occur in the real world - employers come to their door to interview, j Despite a national trend indecreased on-campus recruiting, WCU continues to bring employers to campus. In 1992-93, a total of 71 recruiting dates were scheduled by various employers. This is a 5.5 percent increase from 1991-92 and a 26 percent increase from 1990-91. This fall also looks promising. About 25 companies are scheduled to interview on campus, including 13 for Job Fair on October 28. Career and Academic Planning Center staff coordinator, Jeff Bewsey, said he expects thosenumbers to increase soon. Watch the schedule posted on the bulletin board outside Room 80 McKee to see who is coming to campus and when. The schedule will also appear in the Western Carolinian and a copy is sent each week to the academic departments. 4.
