  • Volume 57 Number 15 Voices The Western Carolinian Page 3 Thursday. January 23, 1992 Letters to the Editor John Marshall Dennis Editor-in-Chief With the recent happenings in Catamount basketball we, "The Regulars," have taken it upon ourselves to voice a visual opinion of the performance of the referees. We focus our frustration on two key games which we witnessed, namely the UNC-G game and the ETSU game. We hope this lighthearted jab at the zebras will entice more people to attend the home games and see for themselves whether the refs are blind or just plain stupid. With all due respect to the officials, we attended the Appalachian game as well and found the refs to be adequate at Varsity Gymnasium. The simple fact is that :he Mountaineers played a good game while the Cats could not get anything to fall. We would like to stress that this "picteditorial" is the opinion of "The Regulars" as individuals and not the Carolinian staff or any members of the WCU Athletic Department and that The Western Carolinian is not reponsible for opinions expressed on the Voices page.
