  • to bring out the best $300 and $400. Another thing SECT would like to do is visit the dorms on campus in order to better educate students about first aid. "1 feel like we can be a primary response service as well as an educational service to promote emergency medical care in this area. "In responding to calls on campus, we always find that the people have elevated the patient's feet or covered him with a blanket. The people say, T knew I was supposed to do something like this, but I didn't know exactly what.'" Still another project Rich is working on is SECT backing up the Cullowhee Fire Department. "We'll offer medical coverage on their fires and they'll give us fire protection on our calls (car accidents, wood fires. gas spills), lt will give us both more calls. It will keep us both more active, lt will keep us on our toes instead of sitting idle all the time." According to Rich, the team is always looking for new members, especially females. "We'd like a female on all of our crews. That's for our protection and the benefit of the patient. "We haye a lot of female patients. They prefer a female to talk to when they're afraid or embarrassed." There will be five SECT members for the coming fall semester. They are Chief Eliot Rich, Secretary/Treasurer Sabra Simpson, Joseph R. Zalkin, Glen Williams and Trainee Ken Furey. All are students in Western's Health Sciences Program. last of the Red Hot Lovers' Neil Simon ploy m ends tonight 3 The final production in WCU's summer theatre scries will be Neil Simon's Last of the Red-hot Lovers," to be presented through tonight in the WCU Little Theatre.
