  • >«E,,,THEWESTERNCAB0UNIW SEPTEMBER 7, 1978 "DearASfP, I go to school at Western Carolina University and live in Sylva, North Carolina where a new A&?P store has just opened. I am on a tight budget and at first 1 was skeptical. I have seen your commercials on television with "Mr. Price" and "Mr. Pride" and they convinced me to give it a try. I have to tell you I was very pleasantly surprised. Your prices are great and your quality is fantastic! I have never seen such beautiful produce and meat - always fresh and always a large selection. Ann Page products are economical, but not lacking in quality.... I buy them with as much confidence as a brand-name product. This store has a delicatessan with a wide variety of cold cuts and cheeses. There is a section of fancy odd's and end's and delicacies that can never be found in other stores. The dairy section offers a still wider variety of cheeses, fresh dairy products and, again, reasonable prices. I can always find what I need in personal care items as well as household utility items. But I think what I love most is A£PP Coffee, freshly ground for me the way I like it in those beautiful grinders. The cashiers are always friendly, and the store personnel always ready to help and serve the customers. I just wanted you to know how very satisfied I am with your stores, and I will never shop anywhere else! Thank you..." Your Sylva A&P staff. John Revis. Manager.
