WE GOOFEDDThe $3.9 million Jackson County School Bond Issue is scheduled to come to a vote November 8 during the regular county and state issues balloting times, rather than on September 27 as was reported last week. A beginning rock climbing clinic will be held September 25 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The clinic is offered by the University Center in conjunction with Cullowhee Wilderness Outfitter. Instruction will be given on the basic techniques of rock climbing. For further information contact the UC Information desk. ATTENTION PRE-MED MAJORSDA representative from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine will be on campus Wednesday. Mr. Mike Towe will present a program entitled "Hawk Mountain: The Spectacle of Hawk Migration" which includes 80 slides of 16 different species of hawks that migrate during fall past lookouts on Hawk Mountain in Penn. Everyone is invited to attend. Entries for the WCU Homecoming Theme contest will be accepted Sept. 27 through 29. Boxes will be placed at the cafeterias for the noon and evening meals, and all day at the UC. All students and student organizations are invited to submit entries. Entries will be judged on brevity, relativity to the university, relativity to the Wofford game, and flexibility.
