'Right On '7V features Bread As part of the "Right On '71" festivities Student Government Is presenting BREAD in concert Thursday night at 8 p.m. in Reid Gym. The concert will be the group's first stop on a North Carolina tour. From WCU they will go to Wake Forest then on to East Carolina. One of BREAD'S drawing attractions is the group's ability to reproduce almost flawless recreations of their records, opposed to many groups that need a studio to reproduce their sounds. BREAD'S hits include "If Don't Matter to Me," "Let Your Love Go," "If, "and "Mo- ther Freedom," Their newest release is "Baby I'm A Wan- tin' You." BREAD began about two years ago with a million -seller "Make It With You." Student Tickets are $1 with the Activities Card (not the UCB card). General admission tickets are $4. Tickets are on sale at Hoey Auditorium and the University Center, second floor, from 12 until 5 p.iru through Thursday. Cast announced Second S/TA production uill be 'The Firebugs' BREAD! TO BE HERE THURSDAY! That's the news, and they're sponsored by Student Government Productions as part of the Homecoming activities for the week. Tickets may be bought through Thursday in Hoey or on the second floor of the University Center. Rap session for students offered The Mental Health Center in Cullowhee is offeringa new ser- vice to the students of Western Carolina University. This service is a walk -in Rap Session and is available each Thursday night from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. a) the Baptist Student Union. The Rap Session represents an attempt of the Mental Health Center to expand its services and effectively reach more students. This service is open to any student who feels he needs help with a problem but does not feel that his problem is ser- ious enough to warrant seeking therapy at the Mental Health Center. It is hoped that this Rap Session will be used by students to prevent their problems from becoming cause for therapy, The Rap Session is offered without charge to all students. Both group discussion and individual interviews will be a- vailable to the student depending upon the nature of his problem. Two psychologists from the Mental Health Center and one of the campus ministers will be available at all Rap Sessions. There are no limits upon the type of problem that students may bring to the Rap Session as long as it is something the individual finds upsetting. The second production of the 1971-72 theatre season of the Department of Speech and Thea^ tre Arts, THE FIREBUGS, will open on November 15 and run through the 20th. THE FIREBUGS, by Max Frisch, is the story of two arsonists that invade the home of a wealthy businessman. The firebugs are intent on the demo- lition of an entire Swiss city. The businessman, Gottlieb Biedermann, and his wife, suspecting the identities and intents of the arsonists attempt to placate them, Biedermann is .played by Louis Powell Bell, a junior from Randleman and his wife is played by Karen Furno, a sophomore from Carey. The arsonists, SeppSmitz and Willi Eisenring are played by Dan Spaugh, a senior from Winston - Salem and John David Clark, a sophomore from Henderson. Donald L. Loeffler, acting head of the Department of Speech and Theatre Arts is directing the play. Richard Beam is scenic designer and technical director and Cathy Dixon is stage manager. Other parts in the play are portrayed by Nancy Hammill, David A. Murphey, Tara Wilson, and Robert Funk. The chorus is led by Allen Freeman Jr., and includes Mary Bennett, Danny Holloman, Jody Kirkpatrick, Gary Laney, Eva Mae Russell and David G. Turner. "Right On' shorts Powder puff football Wednesday night at 7 p.m. the Inter- fraternity Council will sponsor a powder puff football game in Memorial Stadium. There will be two teams of girls made up of juniors and seniors. The game will be played according to standard football rules with the exception of tackling and roughness. There is no charge. Trophies There wUl be six homecoming trophies awarded this year to the following: Best Float, Best Fraternity Display, Best Sorority Display, Best Independent Display, Best Men's Residence and Best Women's Residence Displays. The judging wUl be carried out by independent judges from the community. The winners wUl be announced during half-time and can pick up their trophies the following Monday in the Student government offices,
